Student Success Statement

“Act well your part; there all honor lies.”
-Alexander Pope
This student success statement is talking about how you should never lie and you should act good in no matter what phase you are or who you are. Acting well is the key in this quote. When you act well you are choosing the right. All given quotes all connect to choosing the right. To add on, when you act well you will be reward with good. Choosing the right and developing those good characteristics will develop and you will do good in life. Their is no honor when there is lies and bad background. Honor yourself with good and don’t cheat yourself. As said on the quote, act well on your part, we do not honor lies. As said in our previous past, you cannot do wrong and feel good about it. It always come back. Honor is something that should be earned and respected, it should be a great label where you feel good about your decision that you made.

A great example that connects with this quote is the one given to us, if you are in a team and you got up to state or national championship, you win but cheated and get a price, it won’t be an honorable moment. It wouldn’t be a honorable moment because you know that you cheated. This example was shared with us to help us connect to this quote. You can be honored with the greatest price of all, you did your part but you failed your part. You failed your part and you have the greatest label, but you cheated. You didn’t act well, you cheated doing something for a need.Image result for alexander pope
