This quote by Chick is well stated. What this quote is saying is that doing the right thing will bring more into you than doing something in an unfair way to win or lose something. This quote brings into being a CTR person. Being a CTR person will bring me to being right, fairness, and feeling honorable for what i have done. Choosing the Right is all over this quote. Choosing the right will keep the unfairness feeling in you to play fair and correctly. Winning isn’t so important as well as losing. Winning is a joy in most likely everyone, but that is only for a while. Winning brings you the joy, but when choosing CTW that feeling of joy will combine with guilt that will bring you a loser. Doing the right, being fair, and being honorable will prevent that guilt away so you can be happy with what you have done right.
A great example that fits under this quote is our educational life. Currently in our high schools we are having Walk Outs, because of the election that just occurred. These walk outs, in my opinion can be fun for an individual but it is wrong and worthless. These walkout are just bringing a bad label and stereotyping us people that come from a latin community. How does this example relate? Well this example connects to the quote, doing what is right and fair will bring more acceptance into you. There is nothing wrong with protesting your voice and your beliefs, we all have rights. Our voice should be heard in a respectful and peaceful manner. Walkouts are just a fun exciting thing for an individual at the moment, but it isn't really helping. Using our voices and rights correctly can bring us too what we want.
