Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement
“If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true do not say it.”
-Marcus Aurelius
This quote is very well stated. What this quote basically applies to is CTR and following TRFCC. This quote applies to being and doing CTR by just doing the right. Choosing the right brings you good and it is good. In this quote by Marcus it clearly states that if it is not right do not do it, that is a clear stating of Choosing the Right. Choosing the Right bring good and success, it prevents you from choosing the wrong and following up consequences. Therefore, when choosing the right you develop characteristic in yourself. TRFCC stands for trustworthiness, respect, fairness, caring, and citizenship. TRFCC is a great characteristic you can develop from choosing the right. TRFCC is a good way to help develop yourself in a nice positive way to help others, yourself, and your community. TRFCC help you develop characteristics that will lead you to doing the right and realizing what is wrong to not commit what is wrong. On every action in the world that is either right or wrong, it is common sense if the actions will lead you into trouble or benefit something in a positive way.

Choosing to do something good and bad is in our everyday life. In this quote given by Marcus it has two parts to it, the common sense and the truth behind it. In the first part of the quote it focuses on the common sense. The way the first part of the quote falls under the common sense, no matter what as the older you get you realize more and see what is truthful and untruthful. For example, doing drugs is a great example of what everyone knows its bad. Usually people know that the negative effect it has an individual so people stop. The second part of the quote, if it's not true don't say it. A great example to follow this is lying. Lying is a great example, because everyone does it but they know it's wrong. This is common sense and usually people stop doing it.
