Veterans Day is the holiday where we celebrate and give thanks and honor those who survived and died in World War 1. This holiday is in replacement of Armistice day in 1954. Veterans Day take place on November 11th. The purpose of Veterans Day is to honor and remember those from World War 1 and the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice. The signing of the Armistice is what ended World War 1 in 1918. As for this day it is important to give out our thanks you. It is important to show honor on Veterans Day to give recognition of what these Veterans did and the sacrifices they committed to grant us our freedom today. Different ways to show our appreciation on Veterans Day is wave a flag correctly, visit a home for Veterans, donate, talk with a veterans,etc.

Something interesting about this holiday is how a group of people trained help grant us our freedom and how history affects us from the future. This history took place long ago, and still today we give special thanks today in a day to those who gave their dedication and sacrifice for us today.

Veterans is a really special holiday. Veterans Day is a day to give thanks and honor those who sacrificed and gave their dedication for us today. I find Veterans Day a good day to talk a day off from school and grant those special thanks to others that worked for our country. I personally do not know anyone that worked and served their time as a Veteran, but we appreciate them. I know that all of America appreciates those today. Without World War 1 we maybe would not have had our rights and freedom today. Veterans Day is a very honoring a thankful day, i will give my special thanks tomorrow. As a person who lives in the United States and is thankful for her freedom and rights, i plan to give the thanks to them tomorrow.
