Choosing the Right consist of making great choices, helping others, being responsible, etc. With CTR you will strive and grow to your best ability. You must work to get to where you wanna be in life. CTR is the right choice that will make you feel great about yourself and your surroundings. Maintain a good you and positivity around you with CTR.

An example that can fit with CTR, is helping others. Let say, your friend is having trouble completing their math hw and they ask you to let them copy your work. Don’t let them. A CTR person would help and guide them through the learning process and avoid the trouble that could have occurred if CTW, was chosen of letting them copy. CTR is full of great actions and doing.

Without CTR, their would be no good and positivity around us and in the world. In this quote by Mr. Haymore, is implying that CTR should be a choice that shouldn't always be in mind. CTR is a life changing decision that can benefit for the better. As well, it can help you grow as a person. Choosing the Right will lead you to a great path and journey in your future, building your self character and growing as an individual. CTR can be a life changing decision that can turn your life in a great way. Choosing the Right 24/7 is the ultimate choice, because of this choice you will grow and prospers as a student and individual in your world and community. A great example that can follow up this ultimate choice quote are choices. If you choose the ultimate choice there is no need for you to think in situation that can change and impact you negatively. A example that was shared that can connect to this quote is, peer pressure. As we get older we can be peer pressured to do things we know is wrong and we need it can cause harm. This quote by Brigham Young is in relation with Choosing the Right. Choosing the Right can be related to this quote by doing what rights to avoid problems. Brigham lived by the code of conduct which help him live right and enjoy independence and freedom. Freedom and independence is lived by those who choose the right. Those who choose the right avoid the consequences when choosing the wrong. True independence and freedom is only guaranteed when choosing the right. Brigham Young was someone who chose the right and lived by the code of conduct. To add on the code of conduct and choosing the right can be something in one we should all live by. Choosing the Right and living by the code of conduct will benefit us in our future life. Choosing the Wrong will bring bad actions with consequences leaving you with choices you have to make to pay off what you did wrong. Your freedom and independence can slowly be taken away from you.

A great example that can follow up this quote is Brigham Young himself. As an individual he lived by his code of conduct which helped him choose the right. The code of conduct is a daily set of goals he lived by. For example; no foul language, no use of drugs or alcohol, no cheating,etc. He lived his daily life with freedom and independence. He never had a problem, because og his code of conduct. His code of conduct benefitted him by avoid trouble. Therefore, keeping is freedom and independence.

Character is the representation of who you are. You are know for the type of character you have, and usually it what's others determine how you are with that bit of information. It is important to have good character, because the more likable people will see you. Having good character can be seen as a positive way. In other words, having a bad character is something negative that can be seen. Bad character is something you don’t want, it's a bad representation of yourself. Who you are is all determine by character,environment, and your action. The people you surround yourself will develop your character greatly. To add on, actions determine character. Choosing the Right can appeal to this, because choosing the right is the right thing to do.

Preciously mention, friends determine character within you. This is a great example, because character is in your environment. Having the right friend will help you commit to better actions and doing. Better character can be applied to Choosing the Right. You Choose the Right by choosing great people to surround yourself with. Choosing the Right with great people around will impact you well, building better character within yourself. As mention before, character is very important and can be determine. Having a good character is something to have, it is a great way to represent yourself. Character determines how others see you.

This quote applies to CTR and CTW. In this quote it also is applying, think before you act. Therefore, before you do something dig deep on your decision and how it will affect you positively or negatively. Choosing the Right and Choosing the Wrong both apply to this quote by using what you know to create a decision. In this quote, asking yourself if something is wrong or right can affect your future. This saying by Otto Graham, choose the right. Choosing the Right is doing what is good for you and isn’t bad in any way.  Daily we have ur routines and decisions that determine the next step you are taking. Be wise with your decisions and no harm will be cause. No matter what our choices will determine what will lead us in our way, it all goes back to our own selves. We make our own decisions and what we do it what we get.

To add on, a great example to follow up this quote is cheating. CTR is a daily reminder in this class. You are nothing but encourage to Choose the Right. It is up to you if you want to face or avoid the consequences. Cheating is a great example for this quote, because when cheating there's consequences. Everyone has cheated at least once in there life, but what good have you gotten out of it. Cheating is something you always think before you do. Because cheating is wrong, when thinking you must act wise. Cheating is wrong, and shouldn’t be doing it. Cheating is wrongful and shouldn’t be done.

When you act well you are choosing the right. All given quotes all connect to choosing the right. To add on, when you act well you will be reward with good. Choosing the right and developing those good characteristics will develop and you will do good in life. Their is no honor when there is lies and bad background. Honor yourself with good and don’t cheat yourself. As said on the quote, act well on your part, we do not honor lies. As said in our previous past, you cannot do wrong and feel good about it. It always come back. Honor is something that should be earned and respected, it should be a great label where you feel good about your decision that you made.

A great example that connects with this quote is the one given to us, if you are in a team and you got up to state or national championship, you win but cheated and get a price, it won’t be an honorable moment. It wouldn’t be a honorable moment because you know that you cheated. This example was shared with us to help us connect to this quote. You can be honored with the greatest price of all, you did your part but you failed your part. You failed your part and you have the greatest label, but you cheated. You didn’t act well, you cheated doing something for a need.

In this quote, doing and choosing the right will lead you to making no effort in any situation and problem you may face. Choosing the Right is the best thing you can do, especially towards someone or something. According to Rachel, doing the right thing and living the correct way , everything will be taken care of. What this means is, doing a good thing for yourself and/or others it will lead you to feeling grateful and maybe a higher level reward would be received.

A great example to follow up this quote is Rachel’s experience in general. Rachel's experience was finding her year worth of earnings, $36,000. She personally didn’t keep the money, because she is a believer in god. According to the bible, she knows that stealing and lying is something wrong to do, she followed that. Rachel followed her own personally belief too great a good decision, she choose the right. She knew that returning the money is what will lead to less problems.

This quote is very inspirational and very achieving. This quote is saying that doing good is the best thing to do and doing good is what makes you feel good about yourself. On the other half, doing bad will just make you feel guilty and wrong. You only have one life and you must make the best out of it.Therefore, choose the best things to do good and make it something good for yourself. Doing what's good can make others feel good towards others. In this quote, enjoy your life while you have it and make the best out of it. Making the best out of your life can be really great, because no one knows how much you time you have left in this world. Following up, choosing the right is what is going to lead you to that great life. Choosing the right will introduce you to good choices that you can use to influence yourself, others, community, and maybe even the world.

To follow up to this quote, a great example that was shared with us was the recent Super Bowl. This past weekend the 51th Super Bowl occur. In all of NFL history, this was the first super bowl that went overtime. In this super bowl it was a 50/50 chance for both teams. In this Super Bowl the New England Patriots took their win. On this team their is now a 3x time winner in football SuperBowl history. He and his team play a big role in teamwork, citizenship, integrity,etc. They took that win with great effort and achievement, and they hope to continue each year in the Super Bowl. In conclusion, with the win of the patriots Tom Brady dedicated the game to his mother. Therefore he did good, he gave more effort because the game was all about his mom. Tom Brady’s mom recently has been going through chemotherapy all football season. Because of this family situation Tom Brady did what he can and gave his fullest with his team to do their best. The final goal of the game was 34-28 to the Falcons.

Doing what is not the correct thing to do will never be the right thing to do, even if everyone is doing it. Russell quote is very well stated and it does apply to a lot of what happens in the world today. As said by Mr. Nelson, doing what others do will never be the right thing to do. Doing what others do, especially if you know it’s wrong, will never make it the correct thing to do. The only thing it will do is just make the problem a bigger thing to handle. Choosing the wrong will always be wrong, even if millions of people will do it. We live by a set of rules and laws that contribute to the best for us, if not followed it can cause us problems leading to consequences. Choosing the right will never be considered wrong. Being a CTR person will lead you to a path of greatness. Don’t be a bad follower and do what you know is best.

A great example that would fit in this situation is peer pressure to do drugs. Doing drugs will always be bad, you doing it will not make it any better. Peer pressure isn’t always the brightest thing in the world, but we need to control it. Being peer pressured to drug is an act of CTW. In this situation you are forcing someone to do something they shouldn’t and you are encouraging them to do something that is wrong. The best thing to do is this situation is ignore it, walk away, etc to not commit an act of wrong.Who cares if everyone is doing it, wrong will never be considered right.

This quote is repetition to last semester. This quote says, doing the right thing will never be wrong, but doing the wrong thing will always be wrong. Thomas gives a great and clear explanation about doing the right. This quote basically endorses us to always choose the right, because it is never wrong. As said by Thomas, you can’t be wrong by doing right. What you do is wrong will be wrong and follow you everyone. Choosing the Right will always be right for its great feeling and positivity it shares with others. With choosing the right, you will feel great for choosing the correct decisions. Never choose the wrong, or else you will feel the guilt and not be happy. Doing the right will lead you nothing, but success and happiness.

A great example that can follow up with this briefly clear quote is obedience. Obedience can fall under choosing the right or choosing the wrong. Obedience usually is doing what is being asked or told for you. A great CTR example would be listening to your parents when they ask you to do something, that falls under a positive manner. Enthusiasm is another way of just being really happy. I personally am a really happy person. What this quote is stating is that being really happy does really make a difference in a situation. Being enthusiastic blocks everything negative and keeps everything positive. Enthusiasm is a great way to live your life with great enjoyment and happiness. Personally i need to work on my enthusiasm to do homework. Becoming enthused with my homework will make me finish faster and make me realize that i actually know what i am doing. Being enthusiastic makes a difference in someone else is world. I am a very happy person as i'm told, and not a single day i go by not laughing or smiling. My positivity remains within me all day, i spread positivity with my friend, teachers, and others.Being happy bring difference in your world and others, it makes a change in anything.

A great example that fits this quote is myself supporting my friends in sports. I am one of your biggest supporters, i will be your number 1 fan in the room. I find the use of energy i use to support other is the use of enthusiasm. With this use I usually pump up my crowd around me, myself, and my friend on the court/field. Spreading the positivity gives you a good feeling, nothing else matters. Enthusiasm justs blocks out anything negative in the world. Make yourself feel right and alive for once with enthusiasm. In this case, Dean Smith was the basketball mentor for the University of North Carolina.Dean Smith was someone of equality and truth. Good habits took him to where he is today. This basketball coach was a great mentor to those he trained and taught them well on whats right. Doing what is right is hard to get into the habit, but you'll get used to it. Because of those action they can either be harmful to ourself and our surrounding or can be viewed in a positive way. What this quote is also stating the greatness of education. With education we learn so much about ourselves, others, and what are surrounded by. According to Theodore Roosevelt education is used in a positive way at times. With the education we inform ourselves what our body, mind, and character is and set too. Also said by him, the more good spiritual practices we make to yourself the more we can do for our country. Therefore serving back to make it better.

A great example that fits this quote is the different type of people around us. I personally see everyone equal. Everyone is considered equal, therefore we all have equal rights and views towards anything. Because everyone is equal it doesn't mean we all are alike. This goes to towards those people who choose the right and chose the wrong. In a person who choses CTR, they will make positive choices that reflect on themselves and others. Because of their positive view they always give back to the community to make better what need to be fix. On the other hand those who don't choose CTR usually end up doing thing that harm themselves and other. In that case those who do, end up harming the community and themselves giving negativity around. They provide bad examples. Educating the mind, body, and character can have a impact.

This three word statement is clearly said. From the words from Mark Twain,” Always do right”. What this statement is saying is to always choose the right. Being a CTR person gets you away from being a CTW person. Becoming a CTR person, you will always be able to identify the right from wrong. Having the ability of Choosing the Right gives you the ability to always do what is right. Doing wrong brings consequences, doing what is right brings you success and opportunities. Always doing the right brings you good in you life. When you do good you feel good. Choosing the Right is always doing right. Always doing the right gives you a good name and label on yourself. Good labels on yourself gives you a positive outlook to help you for a future opportunity and having good trust in others. Doing good helps you avoid the negativity and the guilt you can face, because your actions have consequences. When you do what is wrong, actions have consequences. These consequences can lead us to do wrong and have a bad image on yourself. Avoiding this can prevent mistrust of our bright future ahead of us.

A good example that will fit this quote is rules. Rules are given to us time to time and to add we have expectations. When we break rules and expectations others have for yourself we are doing wrong. Therefore, when we do what is right and follow expectations and rules we are doing right. Doing what is right will lead us to success. Other people in our life set up rules and expectation on us, because they know it will help us succeed. For example, teachers and staff members. Every teacher and staff member in the district and in high school want you to see each student graduate and have a future ahead of them. Challenges Teens Face Today

1. The major challenges teens face today are bullying in any form, cyber-stalking,sex, drugs and alcohol, grades, broken homes, violence (Desensitization), self-esteem and body image, child abuse, peer-pressure and competition, eating disorders,etc. These examples are faced everyday, at least 2 or more of these challenges teen faces daily.
2. Two major challenges i deal with today is self-esteem and body image, as well as competition in both school and sports. It’s hard and stressing to keep up to be as “good” at the others. It is just High School.
3. Being a CTR person makes you realize what is right from wrong. Choosing the right can help you identify and make reason what is the best things to do in situations and overcome them by disregarding harm in yourself and others. CTR was made for the good to be found in people and help them solve certain situations.
4. I believe we can help other teenager to overcome their challenges by educating them and bringing awareness for those who need it. For example, those who face problems at home or outside of school. Based on the certain situation, we can bring awareness to help them out and educate them on what best to do in situations.

6. Reflection: What is the greatest need that teens?

I believe as we get older and reach that age of a teenager, all we care about is ourselves and who the best and well-known. I can say that, the greatest need as a teenager is to fit in, look best and do the best in school and sports, and just be a person who you can be around. That would be the “perfect” ideal person. Nowadays, it just reflect on the type of person we are and how we look at. Usually the case, if you are facing one problem you either lead it on to others and/or it gives more problems to yourself.
