What this quote is saying is that, always choose the right decision even if in a tempting or bad situation. In this quote by Theodore Roosevelt he is providing us a lifestyle tip we can all use. Doing the right thing no matter what is always the rightful thing to do. The only thing we should always think about is doing the right thing, even if in a big situation. When being involved in the most difficult to the most easiest situation, you can never go wrong with choosing the wrong. The example that was given to us was a Walmart employee doing his job at all cost to do a rightful decision. Imaging having so much money in your hands knowing it can maintain your life for the next couple of years can do good, but if it isn’t yours its not. No matter the value of anything, doing the correct choice is what will value the most.

A great example that can follow up this quote besides the one that was given, a student. Peer pressure can be devastating and hard especially if it's a friend or someone you're really close to. In my example, there is an individual who is at a party and is offered to drink. You know you are underage and everyone is telling you to do so, because everyone else is doing it. The rightful decision would be to always choose the right decision. Therefore this individual rejects the offer and goes home.

What this quote is saying is to always chose the right decision not matter what situation it fits in or if it is popular at the moment. He is applying one of his basic principle he uses. This principle can be connected to Choosing the Right. To add on, choosing the correct decisions it will benefit you in a correct or improper way. A quote we have talked about in this class is, decisions determine destiny. Therefore, what you decide to do your action will have consequences even if positive or negative. Theodore is providing a helpful tip we should all live by. You should alway determine to do what is right, it is what best fits for you. Choosing what is right will never feel wrong and will always do you great. Choosing the Right and choosing the correct positions will lead you to greatness.

A great example that can follow up to this is an individual every day. More particular a student. Everyday we all make decisions that is a step ahead or a step backwards of what we desire in our life. In particular, decisions do determine destiny. To add on,what you give is what you get. In this example, it sums up how going to school and doing your best at school and avoid any problems will get you to places. Not being involved in a lot of wrongdoing will lead you to avoid the consequences leaving your way free out of trouble and continue your success. With this avoidance you keep going and continue persevering to your best in life.
