Bora Bora

Any place in the world would be, Bora Bora. Bora Bora is a small island found in the French Polynesia. Bora Bora is a small place part of France, it is also known as Tahiti. This small island is made up of 118 small islands in one. It is a fascinating place to visit for relief. Bora Bora is a animal free place. Their is not a single animal found there, it’s completely animal free. Another interesting fact about Bora Bora. it’s known as the “Romantic Island”, because of it beautiful peaceful isolation views. It’s a great place to be with someone really close in a very clean environment. On the island, it ocean is so divine. The water is so clear that you can see the animals in the water clearly. This island is in the top 100 best beaches in the world. I would like to one day attended a nice vacation with a family or friend at Bora Bora. A final fact, Bora Bora is a Hollywood destination. Many famous stars, actors, youtubers,etc have visited Bora Bora. I chose Bora Bora, because i always had a vision of myself visiting this place. Bora Bora looks like a fascinating place to visit. As a long term goal I would like to visit Bora Bora one day.

Student Success Statement

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another”

Lying is not part of being a CTR person. Lying is something that once it’s done it will be repeating. Lying is a bad habit to develop and will be repeated more than once. Lying isn’t a good thing to do, it breaks reality and the truth. What this quote by Paul was said and his video, lying is done more than once. In Paul’s video, he gave very good reasons why lying is bad and what it leads too. As said as our Student Success Statement,’ When you tell one lie it leads to another”.  Repetition happens when telling lies and then your lies start to build up. When you lie it’s bad in every way, because you're not telling the truth. After telling one lie you can’t stop, so you eventually end up doing many more.  Lies can get you caught up with the truth that eventually you won’t know what was really said and can get you in even more trouble. Lying is a way to being a CTW person.

A great example that follows up this quote is cheating. I find cheating a way as lying, because you're being unfair and lying on the actions you are doing. A great example of cheating is when you're in a game or you're watching a game and you see something unusual. When you see cheating occurring you are committing actions that don't really represent the reality of you. Cheating is a form of lying, because you are lying about your actions. When lying about your actions that can get you somewhere in life, doors close. When you lie you are closing opportunities for yourself. Your actions have consequences.

Student Success Statement

" A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches."

 The first thing that pops to my head reading this quote is labels and the actions we all so. That is when CTR comes in, being CTR brings right in your daily life choices. Labels are usually all determined of the things you do and how you do it, either wrong or right. Having a good label shows the type of person you are, the great actions you have shown others,etc. Choosing the Right gives you a good label, choosing the wrong gives you the bad labels. Labels are followed everyday, the labels will never go away. Labels are also what determines your destiny. Like i said before, labels are from the actions we have done, which is now history. With these labels, others use it to determine the benefit towards your own self. Riches are usually wanted in life, but it doesn't really bring happiness. My definition of happiness is being loved or showing love, respect, and honor towards myself,friends,family, and making a change in my own lifetime. Labels are either positive or negative, riches are temporary. Having those positive labels on you bring better riches that value more than others.

 A great example to follow up this quote is when you are applying for a job or career. When applying for something they ask you for background information about yourself or experience you have had towards something,etc. After doing the easy part, then usually and interview is called in. When in the interview you have a one-on-one conversation with a person who asks you question to help you determine if you get the job or not. Like i said before, our good name is our labels we have committed in the past. When the interviewer looks at your background and/or your experience on a certain thing, it is use to impress your own-self to see how better you are than others.If your background says you have been in prison for bank robbery, drug intake, battery charge,etc that is a label you have committed in the past that follows you. This person with this bad history chose the wrong to get what he wanted instead of choosing the right and earn what he desired. This is a great example, because your good name is usually your labels from the past that determine who you are.

Health Educator

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities: Health educators are people who provide information to others to make healthy lifestyle choices. The lifestyle choices are the type of foods they intake, physical activity, smoking, drug consumption, drinking water,etc. Health educators are our teachers about our wellness and information of what our communities do and what they have to make those better choices. Health Educators target towards children and adults to help them find services to help improve their health. They are responsible of developing relationships with others to inform you about public health care, provide information, help others, create educational training that involve community meetings,etc.

Salary: $51,960 - $92,950

Education Health Educators are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Health Education and/or Health Promotion, also depending you are required to have a Masters degree in Health education and/or public health. Following by, Health Educators need to take an examine and pass, also they are required to have had 75 hours of public education every 5 hours. The needs for an health educators can be found in the community.

Demand or need for this profession: Expected to grow 37% by 2020.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one?Why? Why not?

I would consider to become a Health Educator. This job seems like a very important, but not much of a struggle to do. This job would be a great for me,because i wouldn’t want to be away from home and i can work in my community. This job can help inform others to become a better well-being and i can help out my own and other communities as well. This job may fall under the medical field, but as long as i don’t have any physical contact with blood or anything else i'm good. This job is a consideration, but not at my top seeings.

A CTR person is the most closes you are be to being a champion. Champions are those who have conquered and reach success towards something. If you choose the right, you will be the right and be conquered to the finals you have already won. Being a CTR person everyone wins and becomes a champion. Choose the right, feel the right, conquer the right. If you do the correct decision of choosing the right you will be the right and be always considered as a champion. Who doesn't want to be a champion and feel good about it, be a CTR person and you will do well. CTR will bring you positive in yourself, others, and your surroundings. CTR will make you a better person. Out of the championship their is all around us, there is only 1 but that doesn't involve when being a CTR person. 

This quote clearly states that if you Choose the Right you will be a champion for a lifetime.

CTR is when you choose the right. When you choose the right you are doing the correct things, you are being obedient, no lying involve, staying away from drugs and alcohol use, no cussing, no littering,etc. CTR helps make yourself, others, and your environment improve and be in well being. As great example to fit this quote, Noemi Trigueros is stating to us is being a CTR person in general. PBeing a CTR person is making the correct choices to help improve and make a better well being in yourself and others. As time fly's, the longer you are as a CTR person the more accomplishment and success you have made towards other. With these achievement you have already conquered of being a champion. You have become the champion from the start. Choosing the Right gives you better lifestyle choices to help improve others seeings and reasoning that also effects you to become a better human being.

Environmental Health Specialist

Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: Environmental Health Specialist are the specialist who focus on health for a person. Environmental Health specialist focus on our area. They are also called health inspectors or safety inspector. They are responsible to determine health hazards and transform them to good health.  These inspectors check our surrounding around our community. For example, they are in charge of inspecting how clean and what violates the health hazards that affect us, they check resturants,stories,factories,schools,nursing homes, hospitals, dentist, etc. T=As they inspect they are in charge of collecting sample of air,water,pollutions,etc to test the sample if they can harm our health.

Salary: $37,300 - $57,551

Education: Environmental Health Specialist are required to have a bachelor degree in the work of physical sciences,public health,chemistry,biology, and environmental engineering. Then based on the position you would like to work, if you decide you want to work especially for the government they need to complete a certified course by the state. Besides that, also to become a environmental health specialist they would need to go through training and certification through a National Environmental Health Association.

Demand for this profession: Grow between 10% - 20% by 2024.

Reflection: I would consider to become an Environmental Health Specialist so i can help others. I feel that because of these specialist where are sick free and we are not in a so bad pollution. Without these health specialist we can eat and be intoxicated with bacteria that can get us sick. If i were to become a health specialist i can help changed the world and improve someone well being. I would somewhat consider this profession.

Obedience

"When obedience become our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block"

This quote is so forward and the key to do and achieve the best. Obedience is our goal to not become something annoying to us. Obedience is the key to life and success in my opinion. Without obedience we wouldn't have learn, we wouldn't have achieve, we wouldn't have made it this far to where we are today. Listening is obedience, doing the positive things others ask you to do is obedience, staying away from the bad to go to the good is obedience,etc. Obedience is our main goal in life to accomplish more and bring success. This quote by James E. Faust is very correct and true in life. Without obedience we keep creating that block bigger and bigger that keeps us from obeying and doing the right. These blocks that James refer too can be bad and good. The more good, obedience, and choosing the positive we do the more closer we are to breaking those building up blocks in front of us that block our way to success. 

Our everyday life deals with obedience. Without obedience we wouldn't learn, we be in the wrong paths, we would be choosing the wrong, and we would be one step backwards from our future and success. Writing this Student Success statement, i myself don't have the need to do this, but i am obedient and i obey. A great example of obedience is school. I obey and do what i am asked in school. For example; homework, classwork, assignments,projects,collaboration with others, being respectful,etc. I have no need to do this, but i don it because i know that obedience is the key. Obedience is what brings me knowledge and i learn new things to be one step closer to qualify for high school graduation, to qualify to do well in my future in high, to just do and know what i am expected in life. Obedience is following others positive directions and saying to help us do well and get one step closer in our future success. Education is also key for my future success and without obeying and doing what is asked at school i know that my future ain't going to be so bright in the future.

Surgeons

Surgeons

Duties and Responsibilities: Surgeons are professionals who perform medical procedures on a human being to help recovery from a issues happening in the body. Their are different types of surgeons. Different type of surgeries include plastic surgery, oral surgery, reconstructive surgery,etc. Surgery is something involved with blood. Surgeons work in clinics and hospitals. They help us treat real bad diseases and injuries in our body to help us recover. Being a surgery means knowing what you got to do and analyze and do what is right in the person's body. Surgeons use special to cut open and try to do something in the inside of our body.

Salary: $247,520 per year.

Education:  Surgeons are required to have a Doctoral Degree (M.D.) , 3-8 years of surgery residency in the hospital, earn a bachelor's degree related to medicine and pass the Medical College exam to then apply to medical school to gain more knowledge and expert in patients care and medical basics.

Demand for this profession: 20% increase by 2024.

Reflection:

I personally wouldn't want to be a surgeon because of the facts you do on others but involves blood and treating them with special different types of tools. I chose this career profession because i found it interesting and how one of my family member maybe studying to be involved in this career. I used this career to learn more about it and what my family relative will be studying to soon become one. I find it cool how she will possibly become one, but i wouldn’t see myself in this profession.

Ashley Rojas

"Do the best, to get the best, to make others the best"

Be you, be original. The most unique thing you can do is be yourself. Being yourself brings out a lot of good in you and positive beings too. This quote brings so much into one. For example; being helpful, being determined, doing good, helping others, helping the need, honesty,obedience,etc. This quote also relates to choosing the right. Choosing the right is just bringing good and obedience in your life. When obeying you can do something good that can get to do something fun and help others out. What you do now is what determines the future. Be the best that leads to the best.

A great example to relate to my personal quote, is just helping one another, your community, family, people you know, or even strangers. Imagine one day you go to the store and you buy your needs and once you are out you see someone who is having trouble or is in need for some money. I personally give sometimes $1 to the ones in need or if not buy them some canned food or food in general. When you do this you are helping someone out and you make these peoples life easier. As you finish and walk to your vehicle you see cans and trash blocking your way out in your car. In some cases others to pass to the side, but you decide to pick them up and put them in the recycle or trash can. In this case you are doing the best to make a change in our earth and environment. All these good deeds you do in this certain day affect these others in a positive way, they spread this good deed along. Do the best, to get the best, to make others the best so it can pass on. 

Ear, Nose , and Throat Doctor

Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities: Ear Nose and Throat doctors are professionals who focus for medical and surgical treatments related to any problems and also in the head and neck area. These doctors are also known as Otolaryngologist. In the ears they focus on hearing,infections, nerves, and disorders. In the throat they focus on treatment of diseases like in your esophagus that can result in trouble of swallowing and difference in your voice. In the nose they deal with sinusitis, when cavities around the nasal passage become inflated. Sinusitis is an infection in the nose.

Salary: $180,000 - $230,000 per year.

Education: Otolaryngologist are required to have at least 5 years in training in surgery, one year in general surgery, and four years in otolaryngology. These specialist need a medical  bachelors degree in science.

Demand or need for this profession: Profession needed, hope by 2025 profession increases by 2,000 new otolaryngologist.

REFLECTION: I would not consider having this profession. This profession seems like a very easy job focus and pays very well. I wouldn’t see myself doing this job in the future even though it seems easy and pays well. This job is under the medical field. I personally am not interested to focus this career in my future. I do not have an interest in the medical field or anything that involves blood.

John Wooden

Student Success Statement

   "What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player." 

This quote brings the reality to athletes. Being your own great self is much more worthy than being a great player. This quote is relating to Basketball players or to any players at all. I found this quote very deep and very true to reality. Nowadays athletes just wanna be the best in the sport that there own self change.This quote has such an affect on athletes. Being you is the best you can be than be the best as a player, Being yourself brings out the best of you and everything van just be positive. Communication, team work, collaboration,etc is what makes it possible as well to be a good player. These traits can be use to help and achieve more in positive ways. You can be a good person by doing this , but sometimes it is just not the best. Be you. Be the reality.

    I am a current Volleyball player here for the schools team, i have played games and we honestly don't win them all.  John Wooden has a lot of meaning behind this quote. What this quote impacts me on is no matter what the only person that matter is you not others.  I feel that when im in a game, as a volleyball player i may not have the same or act the same when i am in the court. To my team it might mean to be ready, but to me it really isn't. When i am in the court i try to be serious and do what it is asked and try to win the game. When i am out of the court I am a very lively person, i am always smiling, i am always happy and laughing, i am a good sport,etc. This quote says its better to be a great person than to be a great player. I find sports well, but it sometimes doesn't bring the real you in you. When you are in a sport you are competitive and just wanna win the game, but do you have fun ? This quote says it all, be a good person than a player. When you play it really doesn't matter to you, you just wanna win. Being a good person brings you more than just winning a match.
