School Break Days

Spring Break

During my week off of school I didn’t do much. To add on, I didn’t really go anywhere and I just didn’t really go out. What sums up my week off was gathering with family and have a good time to forget things on our minds. In the beginning of my break I had a routine of studying my vocabulary words to keep the words refreshed in my mind. I would study my words from 5-10 minutes and continue what I was doing before. Also, during my break I would go out with my cousins to different place at the time their parents weren't home. Some places we went were the movies, the park, a basketball court, the mall, etc. Something really cool and new I experienced during my break was meeting new members of the family. During the break my aunt brought home new people, I discovered they're my cousins. To conclude, my spring break was great. Spring Break was a great time to catch up on life and your surroundings. I hope that we have another vacation coming up.

Winter Break

Winter Break

During these past three weeks of winter break, I really didn't do anything. Besides being at home with my family, I usually spent time with my family. I refer to my cousins, i usually spent a lot of time with my aunt and cousin and we would go to the store or eat. The highlight of my winter break was just getting into my cousin car, even if we just went to pay a bill or something. During the winter break I met a new relative who came to visit in over 17 years, he was a really great friend of my whole family. Also sadly, one of my close neighbors loss his mom. At the moment we are still currently setting up for her funeral. Beside that I personally aimed to do new things during my break. For example, i was introduced to a new food place called Canes. I personally love the food, I give recognition to my cousin to introducing me to this place cause i was hungry at the time. Beside time with my family, i spent time here at school in practice. At practice we conditioned to prepare ourself for our incoming game. Currently i am in the sport, Waterpolo. This three weeks of break were very relaxing and stress free, but the time past by too fast. A CTR moment i faced during my break was helping other out when they needed help and I cleaned up parts of my community on my own time. Winter break was great, im just waiting on the next break.

Kindness is great key to just be polite. Kindness bring good into yourself as well. With time, the practice of Kindness will develop into habit. When kind or doing something kind you are doing well to help others in a way. It is a great characteristic to develop and a way to represent for CTR. It brings manners and manners bring politeness. Kindness in general brings good in every way. Kindness brings greatness in yourself and others. It it a good character trait to help others out and become friends with others. For example, kindness is used in a relationship with friend. With this characteristic it gives you more trust and integrity viewed in yourself. It brings greatness in your life and just make your life easier to help avoid all the negativity in the world. This character trait is a great way to express yourself and get a good label out of yourself. This character trait is a great way to help develop yourself as a character and to choose the right.

A great example to follow up for Kindness is with your friends, as said in the previous paragraph. Friends are a way we use kindness everyday. As a fellow friend myself, kindness brings good into my life. With friends, when they show kindness i know how much of a good person they are. When i identify this trait i build more trust with others and i see how much good it does to a person. The character trait kindness just gives yourself a good label. I enjoy my friends and i know they are good people. Knowing them for some time, i know my friends are kind because they are caring to me, themselves, and their environment. This good label on my friends shows me how good people they are and how they can make an impact on others. I know myself and my friends are choosing the right.

Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving Week

Over the Thanksgiving Break I work on my assignments, watch T.V., hanged out with friends and family, and gave thanks to what I have today. Over the week I went to the park and travel by road to San Bernardino to visit my family for thanksgiving dinner. I met new family members i had never met before, it made our thanksgiving dinner even greater to spend it with new family. On a Saturday night, it was a lazy rainy day at home with the family and we had Movie Night. I remember that we watched Batman vs. Superman, Mr.Right,etc. Besides that, I stayed moving.  With time to time i would meet up with cousins and friend and we would go to the park and just play and run around, later we would clean up. For example; we played volleyball, basketball, and we just ran around. It was great, later throughout the day we would pick up bottles and cans to recycle them. A personal CTR experience I faced was helping out some neighbors and help clean up the park a little bit. My neighbors are constructing and painting around their home and I went to go help them out. Of course, homework was assigned during the break. I was given to do 3 essays, read a book, create a pamphlet, research on different careers, and create a lab report. I did not procrastinate and i finished early throughout the week. The book I read was called Nights. The book Nights was based on a personal experience as a Jew to live in concentration camp and experiencing death of family members and other victims. This book was very impactful and it made me thankful for having the freedom I have today, food and water, shelter, and rights as a human being. History is history and it shall not be repeated. It was a great time to relax, but still keep knowledge of what we learned in school.
