Duties and Responsibilities: Orthopedic Surgeon are professionals who treat patients with skeletal injuries and diseases. The professionals are required to identify the problem with the patient's uses research from symptoms and abnormal features in the body. Treatment for patients include surgery. Orthopedic Surgeons work with Nurses, ER Physicians, etc for treatment care for the patient. An Orthopedic Surgeon is responsible to educate their patient on what is going to happen and what is happening to them with the problems them have. An Orthopedic Surgeon work in hospital departments.
Salary: $355,957 - $585,605 annually
Education: Orthopedic Surgeons are required to complete a 4 year bachelor degree in pre-medicine, 4 years of medical school, and 4-5 years of orthopedic surgery. To add on, when receiving license they must take a test, but they must take a test every 7-10 years to be certified. Orthopedic Surgeons are required to understand the technologies use, medical understanding, the prevention and treatment understanding,etc. Orthopedic surgeons are those who specialize in surgery.
Demand or Need for this Profession: 14% by 2024

Reflection: To conclude, I wouldn't like to become an Orthopedic Surgeon, because it includes performing surgeries. I do not desire to be in the medical field. To add on, I wouldn’t like to perform surgeries on anyone whom i may get very nervous and does not like to be near blood. Being in the Medical Field would be pretty cool, but with what I know about myself it wouldn’t fit me the best.
